Pharmacy was the first professional program at The University of Oklahoma
and, since 1896, the College of Pharmacy has had more than 4,200 graduates.
The College offers the Doctor of Pharmacy professional degree program and
graduate programs in the Pharmaceutical Sciences, leading to the Master
of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.
The College of Pharmacy is part of The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, one of four comprehensive health sciences centers in the United States. It oversees the only nationally certified Poison Control Center in Oklahoma. It contains an on-site nuclear pharmacy at its Oklahoma City location.
Focused on excellence, the College of Pharmacy provides numerous residency opportunities in ambulatory care, internal medicine, oncology, pediatrics and infectious diseases. It offers a dual degree program (Pharm.D./MS) as well as an interdisciplinary geriatric program within its two convenient locations in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
Faculty research in cancer, diabetes, neurosciences and infectious diseases allow a number of opportunities for student enrichment.
The locations of the College of Pharmacy in Oklahoma City and Tulsa provide ideal sites for academics and extracurricular activities. Students enjoy a variety of cultural programs available in both cities and within the state of Oklahoma.
