- Development of a College of Pharmacy sponsored ongoing series of "Brown
Bag" programs whereby the students would provide a public service
to various organizations of older people to provide periodic medication
reviews. The intent of this program is to empower older people to be
more actively involved in their own medication management such that
inappropriate medication use is decreased and outcomes improved. Additional
benefits would be gained by the students as part of their professional
development.
- Create contracts to develop geriatric continuing education models.
- Attend and be visibly represented at local, regional and national
meetings in the area of geriatric pharmacy and geriatrics/gerontology.
