"Photographs always have found a way of documenting history. They
support the words used to describe them and they fill the gaps that written
language cannot cross. Photos are the mirrors of history. Each and every
one tells a remarkable story." Terry Tush
The University of Oklahoma purchased the British Petroleum
Amoco complex at 41st and Yale, now known as The
Schusterman Center, in Tulsa with substantial support from the Charles
and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation. Charles and Lynn Schusterman
were honored when the facility was dedicated by President David L. Boren
and The University of Oklahoma Regents in December 1999. Support to the
university by the Schustermans has been extremely important to the efforts
of the The University of Oklahoma and the College of Pharmacy to enhance
pharmacy education in Tulsa and Northeastern Oklahoma.
Unfortunately, Charles Schusterman passed away in December
of 2000 at age 65. We will miss him tremendously and are
thankful to The
Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation for honoring him.
